Core Responsibilities:
- Manage and continuously improve the standardized Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance Framework across all Finance and non-Finance departments producing key SAMA reports.
- Review and update testing methodologies, control checklists, and validation templates to assess report accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee procedures for identifying, escalating, and remediating errors and control weaknesses prior to submission.
- Ensure QA reviews are properly documented, traceable, and compliant with audit and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular and thematic QA reviews on all key SAMA reports (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual).
- Perform data lineage validation, verifying consistency between source systems, financial ledgers, and regulatory templates.
- Test the operational effectiveness of key reporting controls and recommend remediation actions.
- Track and follow up on corrective actions to ensure sustainable improvements.
- Partner with Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Compliance, and business units to embed the QA process into the overall reporting cycle.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external audit reviews related to regulatory reporting controls.
- prepare regular reporting and dashboards for senior management and SAMA on QA outcomes, control issues, and remediation progress.
- Coordinate with the Data Management Office to ensure compliance with the bank’s data governance policies.
- Actively contributes to high preforming team environment through knowledge sharing, peer collaboration, and supporting team goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
- Experience in Finance, Regulatory Reporting, or Internal Controls within the banking sector.
- Strong understanding of SAMA regulatory requirements, prudential reporting standards, and governance expectations.
- Proven experience in control assurance, audit, or quality review roles.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
