Summary
Our client is seeking a Sr. Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams, remove obstacles, and drive continuous improvement within our client’s organization. This individual will collaborate with product owners, release train engineers, and key stakeholders to cultivate a high-performing environment. This role requires expertise in SAFe principles and Agile methodologies, focusing on delivering value in a scaled Agile environment.
Responsibilities
Coach Agile teams and remove obstacles hindering progress.
Facilitate key team activities (planning, refinement, retrospectives, demos).
Partner with stakeholders to manage issues, risks, and dependencies.
Guide teams in utilizing Agile tools efficiently.
Promote Agile values and practices throughout solution delivery.
Track team performance and drive continuous improvement.
Prepare and deliver updates to stakeholders.
Requirements

Excellent organization and conflict resolution skills.
Change agent willing to challenge status quo.
Bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of related experience.
Experience with Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools (Mural, Miro).
2+ years with Agile lifecycle Management tools (preferably Apptio/IBM Targetprocess).
Preferred
Certifications: IC-ACC, SAFe Scrum Master (SSM).
This is a 12-Month Contract-to-Hire opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client.
