Job Overview:
The QA Operator is responsible for ensuring semiconductor components and materials meet established quality and engineering standards through equipment qualification, specification (SPEC) testing, material inspections, and process verification. This role performs inspections in accordance with documented procedures, identifies and documents nonconforming products, and supports quality assurance activities by maintaining accurate records, processing material transactions, and completing required checklists. The QA Operator also updates computerized systems, prepares rejection documentation, and contributes to continuous quality improvement through accurate data entry, record retention, and adherence to company quality and manufacturing procedures.
Hours for 3rd Shift – 9:30PM – 6:00AM (Shift Differential 12% per hour)
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs equipment qualification, SPEC tests & material inspections of semiconductor components to documented requirements (e.g. work instructions, engineering procedures, inspection criteria, etc.)
- Processes material and/or product as instructed in departmental procedures and/or specified process instructions (e.g., material move transactions in Eyelit non-conforming material reports, data entry for trending or statistical analysis tools, record retention, etc.
- Verifies conformance to design and quality standards, identifying those items that are below standard.
- Prepares visual rejection forms for all items that do not meet specifications and maintain other required documentation.
- Updates computerized records.
- Completes equipment and quality assurance checklists.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a U.S. person under U.S. export control laws; we are unable to sponsor export licenses for non-U.S. persons for this role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or technical certification in semiconductor technology or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in semiconductor manufacturing or cleanroom environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of semiconductor wafer processes and equipment is a strong advantage.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a precise and accurate manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment and wear required protective gear.

Working Conditions:
This position may require shift work, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production schedules. Work will be performed in a cleanroom environment with temperature and humidity controls.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity to handle and inspect small components.

Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
