Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct manual visual inspection of manufacturing processes within Amgen’s Drug Product Supply, focusing on characterization, data, and equipment management.
- Identify and analyze process anomalies, perform data analysis of critical process parameters, and operate complex processing equipment.
- Support quality systems including Deviations/CAPA, CAPA EV, LIMS, MES, SAP, and MAXIMO, and participate in new product introduction activities.
- Assist and lead continuous improvement projects related to routine operations, planning and implementing solutions.
- Perform documentation review, audit, and revise manufacturing procedures and batch records.
- Provide hands-on training and process theory expertise to other team members.
- Own deviations and CAPA, propose corrective and preventive actions for deviations and safety incidents.
- Support flexible shift structure (24/7 or weekend) as needed.
- Maintain open communication across operations teams and coordinate with cross-functional areas.
Qualifications
- Education: High School/GED with minimum 4 years experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing or quality OR Associate’s degree with 2+ years experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 6 months experience OR Master’s degree.
- Experience: At least 4 years manufacturing or quality service in a GMP environment, with experience in manual visual inspection.
- Technical
Skills:
Knowledge of MES, SAP, MAXIMO, LIMS, and the PAS X Werum software for electronic batch records.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, communication, project-management, and teamwork abilities.
- Additional Preferences: Intermediate mathematical skills, experience with lab equipment, and demonstrated technical writing.

- Salary range: $75,000 – $100,000 per year (actual may vary).
