Senior Manual Test Lead / QA Test Manager (NASWA SIDES Integration Testing):

Total Required Experience in Years: 15+ Years

The client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manual Test Lead / QA Test Manager to support the modernization and integration of NASWA SIDES exchanges. The selected consultant will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive manual testing strategies, validating API integrations, overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), conducting regression testing, and ensuring compliance with NASWA SIDES standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in enterprise application testing, API validation, SQL database verification, defect management, test leadership, and State of Texas project experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases for NASWA SIDES exchanges.
  • Perform manual API testing using:
    • Postman
    • SoapUI
  • Validate request and response payloads.
  • Verify seamless communication between internal systems and NASWA central broker.
  • Conduct end-to-end integration testing across multiple systems.
  • Validate secure data exchanges with:
    • Employers
    • Third-Party Administrators (TPAs)
    • Government systems
  • Validate XML and JSON payloads against NASWA technical specifications.
  • Verify database updates using SQL queries.
  • Perform manual data validation across:
    • Legacy systems
    • Modernized systems
  • Identify, document, and track defects using enterprise defect management tools.
  • Support:
    • Regression Testing
    • System Testing
    • Integration Testing
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Review, create, and maintain:
    • Test Strategies
    • Test Plans
    • Test Suites
    • Test Scripts
  • Manage testing schedules, resources, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate testing activities with:
    • Business Analysts
    • Developers
    • Stakeholders
    • Project Managers
  • Verify transition from paper-based processes to electronic workflows.
  • Validate automated triggers and workflow processing.
  • Maintain compliance documentation for NASWA SIDES requirements.
  • Monitor, manage, and report test execution progress and testing metrics.
  • Perform other duties as required to support project operations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15+ years of QA and Manual Testing experience.
  • Extensive experience creating and executing manual test plans and test cases.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Postman
    • SoapUI
  • Proven experience performing end-to-end integration testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Experience performing regression testing.
  • Strong defect management and reporting experience.
  • Experience validating XML and JSON data formats.
  • Strong SQL skills for database validation and data integrity verification.
  • Experience coordinating testing teams and activities.
  • Excellent communication, planning, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and report testing activities effectively.
