Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our products through rigorous testing and collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation, data quality testing, and manual testing practices such as exploratory and negative testing.
Candidate will work and communicate with other team members worldwide on a daily basis and should therefore have good English speaking, writing and reporting skills.
Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software functionality and stability
– Conduct data quality testing, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and performance
– Perform comprehensive manual testing, including regression, smoke, and negative tests
– Work closely with developers to understand requirements, clarify design expectations, and improve testing processes
– Identify, report, and track software defects, collaborating with the development team for efficient resolution
– Mentor junior QA team members and promote best practices within the QA function
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on test automation
– Proficiency in automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages
– Proven experience in data quality testing
– Strong manual testing skills and experience in various testing types
– Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset
– Good English speaking, writing and reporting skills
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with testing data with SQL queries and report visualization
– A strong eye for UI or usability issues.
