About the Role
We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong Playwright experience to join our healthcare technology team. In this role, you will design and build scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript, helping ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our healthcare platform.
Your work will directly contribute to building high-quality software that supports clinicians, improves operational efficiency, and enhances patient care.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript
- Build scalable and reusable test automation libraries and components
- Translate manual test cases into automated Playwright tests
- Execute automated test suites for functional, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
- Perform API testing for RESTful services
- Collaborate with QA engineers, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define test strategies and quality standards
- Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools
- Contribute to improving test automation practices, frameworks, and tooling
- Support cross-browser testing and test execution in cloud environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright automation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work US business hours
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Playwright for end-to-end automation
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks
- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured
- Experience writing SQL queries and performing database validation
- Experience with cross-browser testing
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
