Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit.
Build and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD).
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to define automation strategies and ensure robust test coverage for critical functionalities.
Execute both automated and manual tests across platforms including web, mobile, and APIs.
Conduct regression, performance, and load testing to ensure system stability under varying conditions.
Analyze business requirements and user stories to create effective test plans and scripts.
Identify, document, and report software defects clearly and concisely.
Work with development teams to reproduce issues, identify root causes, and validate fixes promptly.
Participate in post-release testing to confirm successful deployments.
Promote and implement automation best practices within the QA team and the broader organization.
Research and adopt new tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.
Track key testing metrics and provide actionable insights to enhance software quality.
Work in an Agile environment, contributing to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with local and global teams to align quality objectives and testing standards.
Provide detailed reports on the status of automated tests and overall software quality.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or a similar role.
Expertise in automation frameworks like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cypress or TestNG.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills in English, with the ability to work with international teams.
