Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester with strong expertise in the ACCELQ platform to design, develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated test solutions across web, API, mobile, and enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on experience in leveraging ACCELQ’s codeless automation capabilities, test orchestration, reusable component design, CI/CD integration, and quality assurance best practices to improve software quality and accelerate release cycles.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation flows using ACCELQ for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Build modular, reusable, and scalable test assets in ACCELQ using action libraries, reusable components, parameterization, and data-driven testing approaches.
- Create and manage automation frameworks within ACCELQ for Web UI, API, Mobile, and Database validation testing to ensure comprehensive quality coverage.
- Develop, manage, and optimize test scenarios, test suites, execution pipelines, and scheduling mechanisms within ACCELQ to improve automation efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Integrate ACCELQ automation execution with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or other enterprise release pipelines for continuous testing.
- Analyze automation execution reports, failure logs, defect trends, and root causes to identify issues, improve test reliability, and reduce flaky automation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, QA teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into automated test coverage.
- Design and implement data-driven, keyword-driven, and reusable automation strategies within ACCELQ to enhance maintainability and test scalability.
- Execute API automation testing using ACCELQ by validating endpoints, request/response structures, authentication methods, payload validations, and service integrations.
- Perform regression automation planning, test impact analysis, release validation, and defect verification to ensure stable software delivery.
- Mentor junior automation testers on ACCELQ best practices, automation standards, reusable asset creation, debugging techniques, and testing methodologies.
- Ensure adherence to QA governance, automation standards, documentation practices, version control, and traceability across testing lifecycles.
Required Expertise / Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in ACCELQ automation testing.
- Experience in creating reusable test flows, automation assets, action libraries, scenarios, suites, and orchestration in ACCELQ.
- Expertise in Web, API, Mobile, and End-to-End automation testing using ACCELQ.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar DevOps tools.
- Strong understanding of test lifecycle management, regression testing, defect management, and QA methodologies.
- Experience in debugging automation failures, log analysis, test optimization, and automation maintenance.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML payload validation, authentication mechanisms, and service testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Experience
- 5+ years in Automation Testing with hands-on expertise in ACCELQ.
- Experience working in enterprise QA transformation or automation-heavy projects.
- Exposure to enterprise systems, cloud applications, APIs, and integrated testing ecosystems.
