Engineer II Medical Device Livingston This is an opportunity to join a growing chemical and medical device manufacturing business as a Senior Quality Engineer. You will support on manufacturing quality projects across their West Lothian site. After an incredible 12 months working towards US product approval and with an incoming 2025 site expansion, there are plenty of
exciting
projects planned.
As part of this role, you will work closely on the manufacturing line used to produce a chemical formulation / medical device – a background in medical devices or pharmaceutical manufacturing is required. In addition, you will drive company wide quality improvements, conduct root cause analysis of complex problems, and other QA related practices. They operate on-site clean rooms and are highly regulated.
Therefore this role comes with a high degree of responsibility in ensuring the smooth running of operations in a safe and compliant manner. Youll be working with an existing QA team who are specialists in their area. Requirements: A degree in a scientific discipline 5 years in a
quality assurance
role in medical devices or similar (experience with ISO 13485) A degree of independence and
project management
