- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System in compliance with applicable international standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead internal and external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Coordinate quality assurance activities for new product development, including testing, validation, and product approval.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, customer expectations, and relevant quality and food safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and records to ensure audit readiness.
- Investigate quality issues and non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor quality performance indicators and drive continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and food safety.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Quality & Food Safety team to strengthen technical capabilities and performance.
- Set objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, customer feedback, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives align with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical support and recommendations for quality-related issues and operational improvements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety within the food manufacturing industry, including experience in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of internationally recognized food safety and quality management systems, GMP, HACCP, sanitation programs, and audit practices.
- Hands-on experience in planning, conducting, and leading quality management system audits.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
