  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System in compliance with applicable international standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead internal and external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Coordinate quality assurance activities for new product development, including testing, validation, and product approval.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer expectations, and relevant quality and food safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and records to ensure audit readiness.
  • Investigate quality issues and non-conformities, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators and drive continuous process improvements to enhance product quality and food safety.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Quality & Food Safety team to strengthen technical capabilities and performance.
  • Set objectives, monitor performance, and foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, customer feedback, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality objectives align with business goals and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical support and recommendations for quality-related issues and operational improvements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety within the food manufacturing industry, including experience in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of internationally recognized food safety and quality management systems, GMP, HACCP, sanitation programs, and audit practices.
  • Hands-on experience in planning, conducting, and leading quality management system audits.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
