Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Engineer to lead quality assurance initiatives, design robust test strategies, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate has strong automation expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of modern testing methodologies in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies
• Lead manual and automated testing efforts
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5 – 6 years of experience in software testing
• Strong experience with test automation tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)
• Experience with REST API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
