Job Summary
The Senior Vice President, Operations is responsible for providing strategicleadership and oversight for Ready’s entire supply chain, procurement,production, and quality functions. This position will drive the strategy andexecution of all production, distribution, and retail operations, monitoringand achieving / exceeding profitability and revenue performance goals.
Job Responsibilities
Provide direct management over the full scope of the productlifecycle, driving initiatives to optimize operational efficiency frommanufacturing to retail.
Evaluate the operational performance of supply chainmanagement, procurement, production, and quality functions to recommendstrategies to improve results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamlessintegration of retail strategies with production, quality, distribution,marketing, and compliance efforts.
Lead, grow, and direct the management and development ofservices including sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain.
Evaluate vendor partners in all areas of operations and leadcontract negotiations.
Oversee the demand planning function to connect salesactivity throughout the supply chain for cross-function visibility.
Effectively hold leadership teams accountable to deliverresults by having a disciplined approach to operational excellence andfollowing company policies.
Build annual operational plans and budgets.
Develop, evaluate, and mentor direct reports.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chainmanagement, business administration, or another related field.
Experience: 10 – 15 years of operationalexperience in the food and beverage industry. Previous experience managing anoperational team is also required. Experience in scaling operations in ahigh-growth organization is highly preferred.
Demonstrated success with leading operations ina brand-producing and sales environment, demonstrating efficiency improvementsand scalability.
Strong analytical and strategic thinkingabilities.
Demonstrated success with contract developmentand negotiations.
Proficiency in data and analytics tools.
Ability to manage operational budgets andcontribute to P&L goals.
