Job Description
Kanadevia Inova are recruiting a Site Quality Manager based in the South East of England. This position can be considered on a permanent or fixed term contract basis.
Main Responsibilities
Overall Site Quality Control (QC) lead & manager of the Site Quality team, reporting directly to the Project Site Manager (PSM), with functional reporting to the Project Quality Manager (PQM)
Demonstrates leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) & enforces construction site HSE requirements, and is required to support the PSIM in implementation of the site HSE policies as needed
Ensures that relevant quality certification necessary for site works are available and are valid and ensure that approved testing equipment is calibrated and properly used
Participates in the review and approval of assembly test plans and other quality-related documents (e.g. manufacturer approvals, process skills, personnel qualifications, inspection instructions) before installation. Responsible for organising, managing and conducting the intermediate and final inspections at construction site (IIS, FIS, MEC/TOP), according to the approved QC plan
Ensures that the quality requirements as per Inspection & Test Plan are fulfilled by the contractor, with progress and deviations recorded in the QC tool (PIRS web, LMS or ALP) and communicated to the respective contractor for action and through regular site walkdowns, identifies potential sources of deviation to the contractual requirement and records them in the QC tool

Qualifications
Job specific qualification
Relevant professional experience in plant engineering, manufacturing or construction or in one of the sub-areas of boiler, steel structure, apparatus, piping construction
Welding training (e.g. welding specialist, welding engineer)
EPC plant project experience
Good knowledge of MS Office suite
Fluent in English (additional languages an advantage)
Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) with appropriately training (e.g. EN ISO 9712 473)
Knowledge of the relevant directives and standards applied in plant engineering, manufacturing & construction and experience on common project management systems and tools
