Candidates must be able to pass a drug and background screen. This is an on-site position reporting to Test Engineering Manager.
SUMMARY: The Test Engineer performs the design, development, building and support of automated production test stations.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties are necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned.
Design and develop electrical/electronic equipment and electronic control circuits for new and existing test fixtures.
Consult with hardware/software engineers to ensure test meets requirements.
Control test instrumentation for automated test via LabVIEW and/or C#.
Debug, troubleshoot and verify test stations to ensure they are functional and meet requirements.
Develop test documentation; test plans, fixture specifications and operational procedures.
Support production test, local and remote.

Must have intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with the National Instruments LabVIEW development environment.
Demonstrated experience in the design, building and maintenance of automated production test stations.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team. Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Must have experience in National Instruments LabVIEW Programming, SQL, C#, Automated Test Design Electronics, and Automated Test Design Mechanical.
Formal Education, Licenses, and Certifications Required:
Possess one of the following:
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or technical certification in Test Engineering or related field of study
High school diploma with a minimum of four (4) years of test engineering experience
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required:
Minimum 2 years of test engineering experience
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong organizational skills
Strong knowledge of administration and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
Office environment with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures expected
Major activities include working on PC while sitting, telephone use
Physical effort is limited, to include some standing, bending, light lifting, and limited stretching and reaching

Starting salary $80,000/year
