As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards. You will be working within one of our development teams to create and execute test plans, identify, and document defects, and collaborate on solutions to improve overall product quality.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop and execute manual testing to validate software functionality.
Collaborate with the QA Lead to identify areas for improvement in our QA processes.
Collaborate with the rest of the development team members to identify areas of improvement in our product.
Participate in agile development and be familiar with scrum, be involved in estimating and planning the testing activities.
Understand the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.
Define, implement and maintain testing plans and test cases in accordance with the guidance from the QA Lead.
Analyze and report defects and communicate effectively with the rest of the development team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Stay up to date with the latest testing tools and technologies.
Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on business applications
Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to think critically, solve problems and make informed decisions.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, AX 2012 or similar ERP products is highly desirable.
hands-on experience with test case management tools such as Azure Test Plans, JIRA, Zephyr Scale, or similar
Nice-to-have:
ISTQB or similar certification
A willingness to learn and improve skills in test automation
Bachelor’s degree in related field
