Summary
The Assistant Director of Quality Assurance basic function is to develop, quantify, and implement methods and processes used to ensure products manufactured by MO SCI are documented to meet MO SCI, Client, and governmental standards. Ensure manufactured products are analyzed and issue the appropriate certification. The address of internal and customer audit concerns in conjunction with management. Ensure the continued growth and success of MO SCI through continuous monitoring and documentation of company policies and procedures.
The position reports to MO SCI Director of Quality Assurance.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure MO SCI products are within the established specifications and assure the integrity of methods and processes used by the Company in the production process.
Ensuring documentation is complete and accurate
Prepare documents in a timely manner
Assist the Management team in conducting internal audits
Maintains company procedures and ensures procedures are current and correct
Formulate the various QA policies and procedures for MO SCI
Issue documentation required by clients
Accept and reject any material
Carry out internal audits
Appoint, appraise, discipline, or transfer within the department, personnel reporting directly to this position
Recommend the hiring, dismissing, or modifying the compensation for departmental employees
Advise management of procedural changes that has the possibi9lity of enhancing or detracting from processes
Delegate portions of this authority to direct subordinates for executing directives and enforcing policies and procedures, however, retains total responsibility and accountability for the performance of the tasks , duties, and responsibilities assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: BS degree from an accredited four-year university in preferred disciplines of Chemistry, Biology, or Physics. Three to five years’ experience with ISO 13485, ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Management system required, SOP development and implementation.

Working Conditions
Work will be done mostly in a climate-controlled office/lab environment. With some frequent trips to the manufacturing environment where not all areas are climate controlled.
Wear specialized protective or safety equipment
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts as well as hazardous materials/chemicals and potentially hazardous materials. The noise level in the factory environment could be moderate to high.
May require from time to time to attend various training sessions or seminars carried out by Government agencies, vendors, etc. That could entail air travel and overnight accommodation.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee will frequently be required to sit; climb; stand; walk; lift; turning head and torso bending arms; wrists and fingers. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Must have command of the five senses: sight, hearing, touches, smell and taste.

Weekend and night work may be required
Key position, therefore, it is essential attendance be 100% of the time scheduled
Supplemental pay types: Yearly bonus
