We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Test Analyst to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions. This role is responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying defects, validating requirements, and working closely with development teams to ensure applications meet functional, technical, and business expectations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using test management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Validate software functionality, performance, and usability against requirements.
• Perform manual testing and support test automation initiatives where applicable.
• Prepare test reports, defect summaries, test results, and quality metrics.
• Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and quality considerations are addressed early.
• Support release testing, deployment validation, and post-production verification.
• Maintain test data, environments, and QA documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with software testing standards and organizational QA practices.
✅ Requirements
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields is preferred.
• Understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps, or similar defect tracking systems.
• Basic understanding of SQL and databases for test data validation is an advantage.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to software quality.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in Agile, Scrum, or fast-paced development environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred.
