Role Overvie

wWe are seeking an experienced Senior QA & Test Manager to lead the quality assurance and testing function for a large-scale transformation programme within a highly regulated environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for defining the overall testing strategy, implementing quality governance, and ensuring successful delivery of testing activities across multiple workstreams

.The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise testing experience, along with deep knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) or AMLA-related programmes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, programme leadership, and third-party vendors to ensure all solutions meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements

sTest Strategy & Quality Leadershi

  • pDevelop and implement a programme-wide QA and Test Strategy aligned with business objectives
  • .Define testing standards, frameworks, governance models, and best practices
  • .Lead and mentor QA and testing teams across multiple projects and delivery streams
  • .Champion a quality-driven approach throughout the programme lifecycle

.Test Planning & Deliver

  • yOwn integrated test planning covering functional, system, integration, regression, UAT, and non-functional testing
  • .Oversee end-to-end execution of testing activities across complex enterprise initiatives
  • .Ensure suitable test environments, tools, test data, and resources are available
  • .Track testing progress, quality metrics, and milestone achievement while ensuring delivery against programme timelines

.Integration & Data Validatio

  • nLead testing for complex system integrations, interfaces, APIs, and large-scale data migration activities
  • .Define validation approaches for end-to-end business processes and data flows
  • .Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, integrity, and regulatory reporting requirements are thoroughly tested
  • .Work closely with architecture, engineering, and business teams to resolve integration challenges

.Risk & Dependency Managemen

  • tCoordinate testing dependencies across business functions, technology teams, and external suppliers
  • .Identify quality risks early and implement mitigation strategies
  • .Apply risk-based testing methodologies to maximise coverage of critical business processes
  • .Drive timely resolution of defects, issues, and testing blockers

.Governance & Reportin

  • gEstablish QA KPIs, dashboards, quality metrics, and executive reporting
  • .Conduct quality reviews and ensure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards
  • .Provide regular updates on testing status, defect trends, risks, and release readiness
  • .Support internal audits and regulatory assurance activities where required

.Stakeholder Managemen

  • tPartner with programme managers, business leaders, solution architects, delivery teams, and third-party vendors
  • .Lead testing governance meetings and stakeholder review sessions
  • .Present testing progress, quality insights, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership

Required Skills & Experien

  • ceExtensive experience leading Enterprise QA and Testing functions on large-scale transformation programme
  • s.Proven ability to develop and execute programme-level QA and Test Strategie
  • s.Strong experience managing testing across multiple workstreams, business units, and technology team
  • s.Experience working on regulatory transformation initiatives, ideally within the financial services secto
  • r.Strong knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) programmes or AMLA initiatives is highly desirabl
  • e.Deep expertise in integration testing, data validation, system testing, and end-to-end quality assuranc
  • e.Strong understanding of QA governance, testing frameworks, and the full software testing lifecycl

  • s.Proven ability to lead distributed testing teams and coordinate multiple third-party vendor
