Position Summary
AED Stratecon is seeking a full-time Quality Control Manager to oversee onsite quality assurance and control for construction projects in Europe and the Middle East. This role requires continuous onsite presence and coordination with the contractor’s home office management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the AED Project Engineer and the AED Construction Superintendents in all matters related to the field
- Represent AED in all matters pertaining to Quality Control on-site with the client
- Maintain onsite oversight of construction quality and compliance with contract requirements.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures, inspections, and testing.
· Develop and manage QC inspection and test procedures and instructions for all trades
- Document non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Manage Quality Control inspections for all trades including closures and punch-lists
- Update and maintain the QC Plan, to include all documentation relevant to the implementation of the QC Program on and off-site
- Consolidate and issue daily QC reporting for all trades for the project record
- Report quality status and issues to off-site contractor’s home office management team.
- Support periodic reviews by onsite officials and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- US citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quality Control, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in construction quality control.
- Experience in highly technical Department of Defense or Department of State projects
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspections, and documentation.
- AWS, ICBO, ASME, IEEE, ISO, ACI, AWWA certification.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
