A defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities is looking to appoint a new Vice President of Quality. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, our client is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
About the Role – As Vice President of Quality, you will lead our quality initiatives across all aspects of the organization. This critical role is essential in our mission for excellence, continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Influence corporate strategy
Leverage the latest technologies and methodologies to champion initiatives that continuously improve our quality processes
Establish global quality policies, procedures and standards
Oversee resource planning and budgeting for the Quality department
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 15 years of industry experience that includes Quality management within the defense, aerospace or other end system hardware
Start-up into full rate production experience
Deep knowledge of Quality Management Systems and standards such as ISO
9001, AS9100, etc.
