Job Description
Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a QA Automation – QTP/UFT.
Position type: Contract
Duration: 12+ months
Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite in Plano, TX
As a QA Automation – QTP/UFT, you will:
Top 3 skills:
QTP/UFT – Quick Test Pro
SOATest
Deep understanding of SOAP, REST, HTTP, JSON, XML and security patterns
Other Required Skills:
Total of 5+ years of Work Experience
3+ years of hands-on experience on automation using UFT
4+ years of functional/manual testing for web and middleware applications
Ability to multi-task, plan, and function in a self-directed environment.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong oral/written communication skills and ability to effectively engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
Ability to challenge and ask the right questions when performing QC/QA.
In depth knowledge of Test planning, test scripting, test execution and defect management.
In depth knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Characteristics of a top performer:
Can deliver independently with minimal supervision, fast learner and strong automation background.
Preferred Skills:
Octane & ALM/ML QC
QTP/UFT – Quick Test Pro
Oracle/SQL/SPLUNK usage experience
Scope of work/Position Summary:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering requirements through functional/automation testing to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that the web service/APIs developed are validated to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of automation and testing practices common to the industry. Middleware application built using Mule Soft product to support Web Service SOAP/REST Services along with Gateway authentication patterns.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $50 – $52 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
