About The Role
DMI, LLC is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst to support quality assurance activities for a Salesforce-based application. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all software solutions meet defined functional and quality standards prior to release. This role requires a hands-on QA professional with strong expertise in test planning, execution, defect management, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet client expectations and adhere to best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
- Hands-on expertise in test planning and execution
- Proficiency in defect tracking and management
- Experience with regression testing
- Experience with manual and automated testing tools
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and frameworks
- Ability to analyze requirements and identify gaps
- Proficiency in generating quality metrics and reports
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to develop and maintain a Quality Assurance Plan aligned with project objectives
- Experience producing test cases, defect reports, and test results
- Knowledge of functional testing, performance testing, and data quality validation
- Experience with Salesforce application testing
- QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent)
- Background in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or related field
- Understanding of security and compliance practices
- Citizenship Status Required: H1B
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure completion of functional testing activities for Salesforce applications
- Review functional and design specifications to validate requirements and identify gaps or ambiguities prior to testing
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, scripts, and scenarios
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure application quality and conduct regression testing to validate system stability after changes
- Define testing scope, timelines, and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
- Assign and manage testing tasks across team members, facilitating testing for new implementations, enhancements, and production support
- Ensure all testing activities are thoroughly documented and completed before release
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reporting; collaborate with development teams for issue resolution
- Analyze test results, generate quality metrics, and prepare reports to monitor quality standards
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and communicate issues, risks, and delays in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain QA plans, testing procedures, SOPs, and documentation, continuously improving testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies
- Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, defects, and QA activities to ensure traceability and compliance
- Promote teamwork, professional communication, and knowledge sharing within the QA team and across departments
