Role Description
This is a part-time, remote role for an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Specialist. The EHS Specialist will design and implement safety and health policies, conduct safety training, and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include assessing occupational health risks, monitoring environmental safety standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Regular reporting and risk evaluations will also be part of the daily responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Workplace Safety
- Proficient in Health & Safety and Occupational Health best practices
- Skilled in designing and delivering effective Safety Training programs
- Ability to assess and mitigate occupational and environmental risks
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory safety requirements
- Relevant certifications in EHS, safety, or occupational health are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field is preferred
