Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to oversee, maintain, and elevate our company’s quality assurance procedures. In this role, you will be the custodian of our quality management systems, ensuring absolute compliance with international and national standards.
The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience dealing with the Saudi Accreditation Center (SAC) and a deep working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17020 (requirements for bodies performing inspection) and ISO/IEC 17025 (requirements for testing and calibration laboratories). You will play a pivotal role in preparing for audits, managing documentation, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance: Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company’s internal Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with corporate goals and regulatory frameworks.
- Accreditation & Compliance: Act as the primary technical point of contact for SAC accreditation processes, ensuring all testing, calibration, or inspection activities meet stringent compliance mandates.
- Standards Ownership: Maintain and enforce standards across the organization, specifically adhering to ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17025 protocols.
- Audit Management: Plan, conduct, and lead internal quality audits. Coordinate and facilitate external assessment audits by SAC and other regulatory bodies.
- CAPA Management: Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Documentation Control: Review, update, and manage controlled quality documents, including Quality Manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and validation protocols.
- Training & Mentorship: Conduct regular training sessions for staff on quality procedures, ISO standards, and SAC regulations to ensure organization-wide compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of active experience as a QA Engineer or Quality Specialist.
- Regulatory Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience successfully managing SAC (Saudi Accreditation Center) accreditation processes is a plus.
- Standards Expertise: Direct, demonstrable experience implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC 17020 and ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
- Auditing: Certified Auditor for ISO 17025 or ISO 17020 is highly preferred.
