QA/QC Manager – Construction Projects
SilverBack is recruiting for an experienced QA/QC Manager to support large-scale construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project and quality teams to ensure all contractual quality requirements are achieved across both on-site and off-site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Manager in delivering project quality objectives and contractual requirements.
- Implement and maintain project quality procedures and processes.
- Coordinate inspection teams for on-site and off-site inspections.
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), work packs, and quality documentation.
- Ensure inspections are completed for construction works offered for handover.
- Review and monitor subcontractor and vendor quality deliverables.
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions, and close-out activities.
- Conduct internal audits and quality assessments throughout project delivery.
- Produce weekly/monthly quality reports and KPI updates.
- Maintain quality documentation within digital construction platforms.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to QA/QC and operations teams.
- Ensure all activities comply with company and project quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in QA/QC or related discipline.
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a similar construction QA/QC role.
- Strong background in construction operations and quality management.
- Experience managing QA/QC teams across multiple work fronts.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong reporting, communication, and organisational skills.
- Experience using digital construction platforms.
- Professional certification desirable.
- Internal Quality Lead Auditor certification advantageous.
- BIM 360 experience beneficial.
- Willingness to travel as required.
