Job Description:
As Quality Auditor you will be assisting the Chief Inspector and Quality Manager in designing, implementing, and maintaining safety and quality standards that meet AS9110 and FAA/EASA Safety Management System requirements. This role will also assist in furthering internal training programs.
Essential Job Functions
With assistance from the Chief Inspector and Quality Manager, lead company efforts in developing policy, processes, and procedures that meet requirements for certification for AS9110 and FAA/EASA Safety Management System. Once certified, maintain policies, processes, and procedures to ensure continued certification from certifying bodies.
With assistance from the Chief Inspector and Quality Manager, design and implement various training programs
With limited supervision, prepare various documents as required by Company policy, FAA/EASA regulations, and/or as required by QMS/SMS standards.
Locate and use appropriate technical data, follow verbal instructions and accept directions from supervisor when accomplishing assigned tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned supervisor.
Education and Experience
Be at least 18 years of age.
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Be authorized to work in the United States
Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Must understand, read, and write English.
Possess organizational skills and maintain strong attention to detail.
Experience with Quality Management System/Safety Management System initial certification process. Experience with AS9110 and/or FAA/EASA SMS preferred.
Experience designing and implementing training programs, preferred
FAA Airframe and/or Power plant license preferred
FAA Part-145 Repair Station Experience preferred
Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Able to handle interruptions and a fast-paced environment.
Be self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests.
Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state and federal regulations.
