Role: QA Tester – Corporate Actions
Location: Wrexham UK
Relevant Experience: 6+ yrs
Duration: 6-12+ months
We are looking for a Hybrid Business Analyst / QA Tester with 6+ years of experience to join our financial services team in Wrexham
. You will sit between our business teams and developers—helping gather requirements, analyzing financial data, and leading both manual and automated testing
What You Will Do:
- Business Analysis: Talk to stakeholders to understand and document requirements for Corporate Actions (Dividends, Interest, Redemptions, etc.)
- Testing & Automation: Write test plans, run manual tests, and maintain automated regression test suites using Selenium
- Data Validation: Run SQL and DB2 queries to check backend databases, and validate data payloads using XML
- Defect Tracking: Log bugs, track issues, and manage workflows using Jira and AQM
.What We Are Looking For:
- 6 years of experience in a banking, fintech, or asset servicing environment
- Solid domain knowledge of Corporate Actions (how dividends, interest, and events work)
- Strong technical skills: Good hands-on experience with SQL (DB2), XML validation, and Selenium scripting
- Tooling: Daily working knowledge of Jira, AQM, and standard Microsoft tools.
