Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join our team and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety on our construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to practice/apply QA to dynamic temporary detention projects and make a significant impact on the success and integrity of our projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Create and enforce comprehensive quality assurance (QA) policies and procedures tailored to construction projects.
Ensure all QA processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits at construction sites to monitor compliance with safety and quality standards.
Identify and document any deviations from established standards and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant safety and quality standards, including ISO 9001 and other applicable regulations.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to address and resolve quality concerns.
Prepare detailed reports on QA activities, findings, and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all QA processes and inspections.
Work closely with the on-site construction manager, project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the QA team and other project personnel.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction quality assurance.
Proven leadership experience in a QA role within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, standards, and regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:
Typical construction work environments, requiring physical activities such as bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, and lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds.

Salary Range:
$41.68 – $72.93
