Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of golf carts and LSVs using precision measurement instruments such as height gauges, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints and production documents to ensure manufacturing processes align with quality standards and design specifications.
- Perform dimensional measurements and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) analysis to confirm component conformity.
- Execute quality audits in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory standards like FDA regulations to maintain compliance across all production stages.
- Utilize calibration procedures for measuring instruments and precision tools to guarantee measurement accuracy during inspections.
- Analyze inspection data, identify root causes of quality issues, and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support the deployment of vision inspection systems and other automated quality assurance tools to enhance inspection efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving automotive or mobility products such as golf carts or LSVs.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 13485), GMP, HACCP principles, and FDA regulations related to manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with calibration and use of measuring instruments including height gauges, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and production documentation accurately.
- Experience conducting quality audits, analyzing data collection results, and implementing quality management systems (QMS).
- Basic math skills for dimensional analysis and tolerance calculations; understanding of GD&T principles is highly desirable.
- Ability to work with vision inspection systems and perform precision measurements in machining environments.
