Job Title: Quality Control Inspector- Claims Department
Shift: Full Time 40 hrs/week. Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM set schedule. No nights, weekends, or OT.
We are an aircraft parts distributor with a world wide customer base. Many of our employees have worked here their entire careers, and we’re looking for people who are hoping to do the same. This position will work on the Claims team, assisting with any issues that arise in the quality department and with customers/vendors/manufacturers.

Quality Control Inspector- Claims Department duties will include:
- Approving incoming materials after performing accurate dimensional and visual inspections
- Verifying and approving accompanying paperwork such as Certificates of Conformance, Test Reports, Raw Material Reports, etc
- Documenting inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing rework and waste; inputting data into quality database
- Initiating Non-Conformance reports (Material Rejection Notices and Shortage reports)
- Keeping measurement equipment operational be following operating instructions
- Performing product identification and traceability activities
- Performing product identification and traceability activities for certification documents
- Communicating with customers, vendors, and other staff via phone and email (you must be willing and able to make phone calls)
- Reading drawings for dimensional inspection
- Using tools for inspection, such as calipers and gauges
- Working with other personnel to resolve inspection questions
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
- Completing all tasks and trainings assigned by management, including opportunity for cross-training
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to speak, write, and understand English fluently
- Strong computer skills, able to learn to navigate new software
- Team player, as well as able to work independently
- Dependable to arrive on time for work every day, reliable transportation
- Able to focus on task at hand without being easily distracted
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds without issue
- Previous quality and customer service experience is a plus! Make sure it is included on your resume.
