Role Description
This is a full-time largely remote role for a Senior Quality Advisor. Part time positions will also be considered.
The Senior Quality Advisor will lead and support initiatives related to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, curriculum development, and educational best practices within the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
They will also support professional development activities offered through the VETQI Network:
Daily tasks include coordinating and conducting audits, developing training policies and guidelines, developing curriculum aligned with quality frameworks, completing technical writing for training packages, providing expert advice to clients, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The advisor will also engage with stakeholders, support client compliance activities, and contribute to the development of innovative and scalable solutions tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of VET, RTO compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in quality assurance, assessment validation, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation, and collaborative project management.
- Experience in developing and delivering high-quality professional development.
- Solid skills in curriculum and assessment development, training package design, and digital learning innovation.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to interpret and operationalise complex policies into practical outcomes.
- Proficiency with digital tools and technologies relevant to educational and compliance platforms.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in education, training, or a related field.
- Experience advising, working with or aligning activity with ASQA, Peak Bodies, or other VET regulatory authorities is an advantage.
